TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms & Conditions apply to all contracts for dance classes, workshops and other services provided by Sarah Tripkovic, trading as „The School of Heels
by Sasa“, - hereinafter referred to as „we“ or „The School of Heels by Sasa“ - and our clients - hereinafter referred to as „participants“.
By signing up to any of our services, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Services
The School of Heels by Sasa offers dance classes, workshops, programs, 1:1 private lessons, and related services as described on our website, flyers and on our social media platforms (Sarah Tripkovic & The School of Heels by Sasa).
Details regarding dates, duration and prices are published on our website, social media platforms, or communicated individually through the registration form.
2. Registration and Contract Conclusion
Registration to any services provided may take place via online form. A contract is concluded and binding once we confirm the registration through the provided form, email or when the participant attends the class. It is not possible to attend any of these services without registration.
3. Prices and Payment Terms
The fees for our classes, workshops, programs and other services depend on the type, duration, and scope of each offer. The current prices are provided in the service description on our website, social media and/or registration form and are available for review before the contract is concluded.
All prices are in EUR and, unless otherwise stated, do not include statutory Austrian VAT. The price stated at the time of registration is binding.
Any discounts, early-bird rates or special promotions apply only for the period specified and cannot be combined unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3.1 Regular Classes / Courses / Programs
Payment is due before the start of the class, course or program, but can be payed in installments, if this is explicitly stated in the description provided.
Payment can be made via bank transfer or cash.
3.2 Workshops / Special Events
Payment is due on site before class begins in case of cash payment and 48 hours before the workshop starts in case of bank transfer option.
If payment is not made on time, we reserve the right to deny participation.
3.3. Performances
You can also book The School of Heels performances or services as dancers via email to theschoolofheels@gmail.com. Before the start of the performance/service we ask you to pay the first installment to cover organizational costs. After the completion of the performance or job you will receive a full invoice via email. The amount of the invoice is to be paid within 14 days.
4. Participation Requirements
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and mentally fit to participate in dance classes, especially in heels classes, where elevated footwear increases the risk of injury. Participants attend at their own risk and are responsible for wearing suitable footwear. If in doubt, participants should consult a medical professional before attending. Participants agree to follow the instruction of the teacher prior, during and after dance classes and follow local studio rules.
All participants must be of the age of 16 years or older at the time of participation in any dance class, workshop, program or private class. There will be no suitable footwear provided on site. All participants must bring their own appropriate footwear or participate without it.
5. Cancellation by Participants
5.1 Regular Classes / Courses / Programs
Cancellation is free of charge up to 7 days before the start of the program/course. No refund possible, if the participant can not partake in one single class.
In case of later cancellation:
50% of the course fee or the payed deposit at registration will be charged if cancelled within 7 days before the start.
The full amount is due if cancelled after the course has started or in case of no-show.
5.2 Workshops / Special Events
Cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours before the event.
After this period, the full participation fee is due unless a replacement participant is provided and is going to be used to cover preparation and studio costs.
If the participant is a consumer and the contract was concluded online, statutory withdrawal rights may apply.
5.3 1:1 private classes
Cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours before the event. Only the studio rent will be charged if cancelled within 48 hours before the class starts.
In case you don’t show up to this service without written notification, you will be billed the full price of the class including studio rent.
Applicable to all of the services above: in case of illness or injury the full participation fee will be fully refunded via used payment method after sending the doctor’s note to theschoolofheels@gmail.com.
6. Cancellation or Changes by The School of Heels by Sasa
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes if:
the minimum number of participants is not reached (min.8 people),
the instructor is ill,
events occur that are beyond our reasonable control.
In such cases, already paid fees will be fully refunded or credited toward a future class. Further claims are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
7. Copyright
The copyright belongs to Sarah Tripkovic personally, The School of Heels by Sasa and its entire workforce. The ideas, assets as well as choreographies, across the floor exercises etc. learned in class are meant for personal use and training only. Passing on The School of Heels by Sasa copyrighted content or choreographies to a third party is strictly prohibited and is seen as theft of intellectual property.
8. Liability
Participation in all classes and events is at the participant’s own risk.
We are liable for damages only in cases of intent or gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to the studio.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is not permitted under Austrian law.
9. Photo and Video Recordings
All photo and/or video material that is produced as part of The School of Heels by Sasa is the legal property of Sarah Tripkovic. Photo and video material taken during all dance classes, workshops and performances may be used indefinitely for our brand purposes (design of the website, invitations, newsletters, etc.), for promotional purposes (TV, print, online, social media) and advertising (merchandise, etc.). Any photo and/or video material can only be used by the participants for non-commercial reasons. If the participant does not wish to be recognizable in photos or video material, you need to notify us before the class begins.
10. Data Protection
Personal data is processed solely for the purpose of organizing and administering classes. The data provided when registering will never be passed on to third parties.

11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Austrian law. If the participant is a consumer, mandatory consumer protection laws of their country of habitual residence remain unaffected.
12. Jurisdiction
For disputes with entrepreneurs, the competent court at our registered place of business shall have jurisdiction. For consumers, the statutory provisions on jurisdiction apply.
13. Severabiltiy
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
